Laura Dowie, Event Manager at Women in Business NI, and Shane Logan, CEO of Ulster Rugby are kicking off a new season of events at Women in Business NI which will see events taking place at all hours of the day and night in line with members’ demands.

Shane will be the keynote speaker at the organisation’s flagship event which will kick off the autumn/winter schedule on 18 September at 9.30am. Shane will address 100 business women at the Ramada Plaza on how he has excelled in his career to his current position at Ulster Rugby, sharing experiences on his journey and the lessons he’s learnt along the way. His CV includes Managing Director of Coca-Cola Siberia and an appointment at Harland and Wolff Shipbuilders as General Manager. At the event, entitled ‘Mentoring for Growth’, Shane will be followed by four mentors who will each impart knowledge on their chosen careers of tourism, law, banking and business coaching.

Roseann Kelly, Chief Executive of Women in Business NI, said: “Our members have wide and varying demands on their time and we have taken this into consideration this year more than ever. We’ve listened to their requests and we’ve literally provided an event schedule with breakfast events, lunches, dinners and even a happy hour thrown in!”

Other events in the Women in Business NI autumn/winter schedule include the fourth annual awards ceremony, engagement with entrepreneur Bill Wolsey in The Merchant Hotel, Belfast; and a networking evening for fashionistas at Hobbs in Victoria Square, Belfast.
