Trainees get permanent posts at Cleaver Fulton Rankin

Cleaver Fulton Rankin has announced the appointment of four of its trainee solicitors to full-time posts upon the completion of their qualification in September 2015.
Peter Moorhead, Kathryn Laverty, Rachael McCord and Stephanie Johnston have been with the firm since September 2013 when they joined on two year contracts as Trainee Solicitors whilst completing their professional qualification at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queen’s University Belfast.
Cleaver Fulton Rankin Director, Jeanette Donohoe, who is in charge of all trainees at the firm, and herself a former trainee, has been overseeing the four talented graduates throughout their time and commented, “This is a fantastic opportunity for our final year trainees and I am delighted to have all four remaining with the firm. This shows the strength of the trainee programme at Cleaver Fulton Rankin and how we successfully develop young legal talent.”
Managing Director Karen Blair commented, “The consistent growth of the firm is apparent with the appointment of all of our trainees. Each of the trainees has demonstrated real ability and enthusiasm and we look forward to watching them continue to develop in their new roles in the firm. We are particularly proud of our training and development programmes for all employees and their success is reflected in our high achievement rates for trainees and overall staff retention levels.”
The firm currently has four trainees in their first year of training, due to complete in 2016, and has taken on another four trainee solicitors who will be starting their 2 year training contract with the firm in September. Over 50% of the solicitors in the firm are former trainees.
