McQuillan Envirocare, part of the locally family owned McQuillan Companies has invested £2m in a bespoke chemical treatment facility, constructed by John McQuillan(Contracts) Limited, at its plant in Antrim.

The new facility, which is based at McQuillan’s Hazardous Waste Transfer station aims to create 10 jobs during the first six months increasing to 16 roles over an initial three year period.

McQuillan Envirocare’s Total Waste Management Approach has allowed them to develop longstanding relationships with some of Northern Ireland’s leading companies and the expansion of the plant in Antrim will extend their specialist services further.
Speaking at the official opening, Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Arlene Foster said;
