PR Institute appoints two new fellows

The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) has announced two new Fellows from amongst its membership in Northern Ireland in recognition of their outstanding work in public relations, service to the Institute and personal achievements within the profession.
Among those awarded Fellowship status this year are former CIPR NI Chair Paul McErlean, Managing Director of MCE Public Relations and Managing Director of DCP Strategic Communication Gwynneth Cockcroft.
CIPR Northern Ireland Chair Chris Love said, “I am delighted to welcome longstanding members Paul and Gwynneth as new Fellows of the Institute. Our Fellows hold invaluable experience of public relations, communications and business practice and are able to provide a unique insight into the profession and the issues facing communicators around the UK. CIPR Fellows help the Institute develop best practice standards and policies, sharing their experience and knowledge through contributing to the Institute’s working groups, panels and consultations.”
