Putting Lisburn Castlereagh on the global property map
Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council is this week, showcasing the area’s potential to over 2500 representatives from across British and international investment and property businesses, as it takes part in the MIPIM UK 2015 Conference in London. As the only Northern Ireland Council area exhibiting at the event, this will ensure that it has unrivalled ability to tell key investors about Northern Ireland’s best-connected and most business-friendly location.
Chairman of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s Development Committee, Alderman Allan Ewart, says: “Attracting new inward investment, which will generate jobs, is a key part of our economic strategy. It is essential that the advantages and successful track record that we have are promoted to potential investors. The MIPIM UK event gives us a great platform to reach a large number of key people in the space of just three days.
“We will be hearing and interacting with advisers and peers including other global investors. It is very important to us to have this level of serious discussion in order to highlight the huge potential the area has to offer.”
Speaking on the Council’s plans for the event this week, Chief Executive of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, Dr Theresa Donaldson, adds: “Major businesses will be attending the MIPIM UK event for new opportunities in their investment portfolios. Our message is that we are here to persuade you that Lisburn Castlereagh is the missing piece in your portfolio.
“Our #LCCCmissingpiece exhibition stand, at E14, will be in a prominent location which will attract exhibition visitors to stop, engage, and learn more about the area. We will be holding individual meetings with potential investors and actively pursuing leads. Our key event at the show is our one hour showcase presentation – ‘Lisburn Castlereagh – Northern Ireland’s best-connected, most business-friendly City’ when two of our recent property investors will join the Council in presenting Lisburn Castlereagh’s investment opportunity.”
MIPIM UK is the annual business, conference and networking forum for the whole of the UK property industry taking place at Olympia, London from 21-23 October 2015. In 2015, the largest gathering of the UK’s real estate industry will focus on business transactions and forward-looking conference presentations.
